Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
GlassDesk (“GlassDesk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a customer-support and team-collaboration platform, including the GlassDesk web dashboard and the GlassDesk mobile app (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. GlassDesk is a business tool used by organizations and their staff to manage support tickets, live chat, and internal messaging.
Information we collect
- Account information. When your organization creates an account for you, we collect your name, email address, role, and a securely hashed password.
- Support and messaging content. Tickets, chat messages, internal team messages, notes, and any files or images you choose to attach or send through the Service.
- Photos and camera (mobile). If you choose to attach an image in a chat, the app accesses your photo library or camera. We only access the specific images you select; we do not scan or upload your library.
- Device and notification data. To deliver push notifications, we collect a push-notification token and a basic device label.
- Security and usage logs. We log sign-in events, including IP address and timestamps, to secure your account (for example, to send a one-time verification code when you sign in from a new location), and we keep standard server logs for reliability and troubleshooting.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Authenticate you and protect your account (including two-factor email verification).
- Deliver messages, tickets, and push notifications.
- Diagnose problems, improve reliability, and secure the platform against abuse.
- Communicate with you about the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How information is shared
Your content is visible to authorized members of your organization as needed to operate the Service (for example, support agents handling a ticket). We share information with service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, solely to run the Service:
- Cloud hosting & storage — to host the application and store files securely.
- Push-notification delivery — Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo, to deliver notifications to your device.
- Email delivery — to send verification codes and account notifications.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of GlassDesk, our customers, or the public.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your organization’s account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Your organization’s administrators can request deletion of account data.
Security
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and optional two-factor verification for sign-ins from new locations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Because GlassDesk is provided to you through your organization, please direct requests to your organization’s administrator, or contact us at the address below and we will work with your organization to honor your request. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
Children’s privacy
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
International users
GlassDesk operates in the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries with different data- protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
